But without faith it is impossible to please Him:
for he that cometh to God must believe that He is,
and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him.(Hebrews 11:6)
The Bible tells us that faith is essential to our victory (I John 5:4), essential to our prayer life (Matthew 21:22), and vital to our Christian walk.
In Hebrews 11:6, it tells us we can never please God without faith. This chapter tells of great men and women of faith. What was the keys to faith we find in these people?
- Total reliance on God – V.7
Noah believed God’s Word and relied on God to build the ark, which didn’t make sense humanly speaking. But Noah depended on God. Are you relying totally on God today? - Total commitment to obedience – V. 30
Joshua did exactly what God told him to do. Marching around walls 13 times (1 time a day for 6 days and 7 times on the seventh day). This did not make sense for war. We must realize the battle is won through compliance not human reasoning. - Totally trusting God for every provision – V. 17
Abraham was willing to sacrifice the son of promise (Genesis 22) but trusted that God was Jehovah Jireh (The Lord who provides).
He will provide for your every need when you trust Him (Philippians 4:19).
Are you walking in faith or fear?

Make the declaration over yourself, family neighbors and our nation.
